We have an immediate full-time opportunity for a Business Development Assistant to join our Great Plains Regional Operations located in Lincoln, NE.  This position will collaborate with the regional Business Development team to submit proposals, design marketing collateral, and execute strategies to meet and exceed business development goals. This position would ideally sit with the team in Lincoln, NE however there may be an opportunity to work out of another one of our Nebraska offices and/or Missouri office.

Full-time Graphic Design position at Murphy Hoffman Company


















Murphy Hoffman Company is a locally owned company based out of Leawood, Kansas and for nearly 40 years has served the heavy and medium duty trucking industry. They have over 3,000 employees throughout 90+ locations and are committed to doing ‘Whatever it Takes’ to support their customers and community. To ensure the best quality, they have an in-house ad agency and are looking to fill a graphic design position. This position would do anything from web-design, decals, billboards to flyers and postcards. Although the department is similar to an ad agency, it offers a larger variety/scope of projects and responsibilities.

The primary function of the Graphic Designer is to support the Marketing Department with graphic design services for advertising, promotional and e-marketing campaigns to support the sales organization and strategic priorities. This position will translate business needs into designs the capture the desired corporate identity, brand awareness and marketing image.

Position Responsibility
1. Branding & Advertising: Provide graphic design services for web and other media, including print, intranet, presentations, and marketing collateral materials.
2. Sales Support & Education: Develop and support marketing programs designed to enhance the sales process. This includes printed materials, sales tools, presentations and e-marketing campaigns.
3. Direct Marketing & Lead Generation: Support the creative direction and development of specific marketing campaigns to encourage customer interaction for MHC department and companies. This includes printed materials, e-marketing, landing pages, search engine campaigns and other social media outlets.
4. Website: Maintain and update content on company website and create landing pages to support marketing campaigns.
5. SharePoint: Provide support and help maintain the site pages for Marketing and other Departments.
Administrative: Assists Brand & Communication Manager/Director with regular department maintenance projects:
-file organization
-electronic file archives and back-ups
-purchasing coordination and vendor communication
-budget adherence
-project status reports

Qualifications
1. Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. One to three years of relevant work experience in Graphic Design preferred.
3. Proficient with computer skills with the following systems and software: Microsoft Windows; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft SharePoint; Macintosh/PC, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Flash; and HTML/DHTML.
4. Must have a strong commitment to customer service.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Must be a team player with a positive, can do attitude.

Designer needed at the University of Missouri Extension










MU Extension is an academic division of the University of Missouri, integrated with various schools and colleges at all four campuses of the University of Missouri and Lincoln University. The primary purpose of this position is to provide timely original graphic arts design and layout services that support MU Extensions publication and web projects. 

Project content will range from promotional to educational and will require design proficiency in a variety of formats such as web pages, guidebooks and academic publications, as well as marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, displays and branded collateral.


-Design layouts for print publications such as newsletters, brochures, academic books and specialty materials.

AIGA Election Design Fellowship

Election Design Fellows are communication designers who assist states in the design of election materials, such as ballots, voter registration forms and educational websites. Fellows help to improve election accuracy and citizen experience, with respect to each state's local laws and election equipment, by implementing the election reforms mandated by the Federal Election Commission's Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA) and the ballot and polling place design guidelines suggested by AIGA Design for Democracy and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC).
Design for Democracy partners with Secretaries of State and election officials to recruit, select and support well-qualified designers for termed, open positions. The program was initiated in Oregon in 2006 under the leadership of John Lindback, the state's chief election official and a Design for Democracy advisor, and in 2008 was introduced in the state of Washington, under election director Nick Handy.

full time design position at siege sports




Siege Sports is an athletic uniform company that creates custom garments.  Each set of uniforms they make, whether they are football-basketball-volleyball-etc., is custom designed for each school.  In addition to these uniforms, they also sell traditional uniforms for youth teams and school athletic programs. 

Siege Sports has a full time graphic artist on staff, but are in need of an additional person to help him handle the load.  Ideally, they would like someone that is a senior student that could start part time now and when they graduate transition to full time.

Requirements:
Ability to follow directions.
Detail oriented.
Meet production deadlines.
Demonstrate ability to work with other departments within the company.
Maintain quality of product by reviewing artwork for content, accuracy and neatness.
Assist in product mock-ups.

The creative director will establish and maintain strong business partner relationships with sales management, clients, and other business constituents. The director works directly with the production facility on all final art insuring top quality & efficiency while driving new decoration techniques & possibilities.  Provides mentoring, professional and skills development and support of graphics team associates.

Creative Designer (Men's) 
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent industry related experience 
• Six years related experience in apparel graphic design for the retail market(s)

mPress: bindery and handwork position


mPress, a high-quality and very reputable kansas city print shop, has 2 full-time openings. The pay is $8 an hour with potential to earn more. Afternoons and evening positions are preferred, but mPress would be very interested in working with seniors who would like to be full time in the future. They offer benefits to full time employees.
