The Nelson-Atkins Museum is looking for 5-7 individuals to participate in a 4 day lab event that is both collaborative and highly interactive.
Selected lab residents will collaborate with Museum staff and visitors to produce a short (3-6 minute) video exploring a museum collection object, The Officer's Sword. While working in the Nelson-Atkins Creative Café, lab residents will explore innovative ways of interacting with the community and telling new stories with art objects.
Those working in any discipline are eligible to apply. We welcome individuals with a special interest in community engagement and arts investigation. Pre-established collaborations/groups are welcome to apply.
