the 2007 issue of spring formal, designed by this year's graduating seniors in type IV, was just announced as the winner for design by the "Association of Writers and Writing Programs". way to go seniors! the design was originally proposed by callie england and garrett fuselier, and the rest of the class joined in on refinements and production, so it was a great group effort. the judge's comments are very flattering, and exemplify what type of design work we are trying to foster in our program. check out the announcement and judge's remarks here.

Steven Heller's latest book
The course syllabi and projects for the Sound + Motion Junior studio are included in Teaching Motion Design (2008). Congrats Jeff. This is the most recent book in Steven Heller's Teaching Graphic Design series published by Allworth Press.
KCAI has a strong presence alongside School of Visual Arts, Ohio State, Rochester Institute of Technology and many other schools.
