BikeWalkKC/Kansas City B-cycle seeks part time Design Interns

BikeWalkKC/Kansas City B-cycle is looking for two part time design interns with a strong understanding of design for social change. Designers will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications and will be an integral part of a growing team focused on user design and development.

BWKC and B-cycle designers must be skilled at bringing projects to life, from concept to post-launch support. Designers can expect to be out doing field work: riding bicycles and using B-cycle to proof their design and user experience.

Candidates must first be a strong designer, but they should also be thoughtful, respectful, and have people-first approaches to strategy, interaction, and visual design.

Candidates must be adept with latest relevant tools including Adobe Creative Suite. They must have the ability to communicate about design strategy and must work within technical and practical constraints without sacrificing creative vision. They must be highly creative while sticking to our sponsors and BWKC/B-cycles brand guidelines.
