paid creative internship at vml

Did Benjamin Franklin spend his days staring at kites on the floor? Did Shakespeare use up his free time admiring how white and pristine a piece of paper could be? No. They saw possibilities in the things around them, and that’s what we thrive on.
VML is a place that covets the human spirit. We appreciate passion, creativity and the thought that if it doesn’t exist, it can be created. We’re a full-service interactive agency where reality becomes inspired, and inspiration becomes a reality. We thrive where grounded solutions meet the blue sky of possibilities. And rather than turning away the near impossible, we welcome it with open arms.

We’re looking to hire both Design and Copywriter interns for our 2013 summer program, but we’d be willing to discuss spots during the year, too. It’s a 10-week program in either our New York or Kansas City office – both of which are pretty rockin’ places. Wear jeans, hang out in a creative environment and get your foot in the door of a top-rated digital agency with a pretty stellar list of clients. And don’t expect your hard work to go unrewarded – we’ll gladly pay you for your time.

Oh, and designers? You’ll get extra bonus points for having design skills in Flash, so make sure to let us know your level of expertise.

To get the ball rolling, submit your resume, cover letter and work samples to Farrah McGuire (fmcguire@vml.com), Senior Talent Manager, by April 5th. An online portfolio is ideal, but we’ll look at work samples or your entire portfolio sent through email, too. Either way, bring your portfolio to your interview as well.  Part of the WPP Group, VML is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  To learn more about us, visit www.vml.com.
