ben kiel is a designer and educator who formerly worked for house industries, where he has a number of typeface designs under his belt. he's taught at washington university, MICA, university of delaware (with ken barber), and has a master's in typeface design from the university of reading in the UK.

stipend is $3500, applications due by april 30.
