Role: Interactive designer at Digital Evolution Group
Salary: $10 hr
32-40 hrs per week (flexible)
Dates: May 29th to August 3rd

to explore the sensorial approach to design; the new science of living
The 2nd edition of the summer design workshop “DESIGN GYMNASTICS@Berlin
2012” directed by Masayo Ave will take place in 16-20 July 2012 in Berlin.
The 5 days concentrate workshop will be held in the institute’s new workshop
atelier in the historical masterpiece architecture designed by Pier Vago,
which is deeply hidden in Berlin Tiergarten - the huge forest central park
located in the heart of Berlin city.
Each day is filled with introductory lecture, hands-on exercise of Design
Gymnastic, creative brain storming, discussion, analysis and presentation.
which encourages the participants to investigate basic truths and potentials
of the new science of living. The workshop is performed for a group of
max.limited 12 participants. The workshop is a truly unique occasion to
share the intensive research experiences as well as to exchange the view
with other participants with a variety of international backgrounds.

gragg advertising interactive designer position
Gragg Advertising is seeking a Web Designer and Developer. In conjunction with the Interactive team, the Web Designer and Developer is responsible for interpreting ideas and creative designs and producing fully working HTML/CSS templates from them. The Web Designer and Developer also performs maintenance and updates to existing websites. Daily work will involve building sites with CSS-based layouts and semantic HTML, as well as utilizing the best of JavaScript. The Web Designer and Developer utilizes information on web standards and accessibilities to create and develop web sites, web pages, emails and additional web marketing materials.
Essential Job Functions:
- Communicate effectively with designers, developers, managers and clients.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and of digital imaging using the Adobe Suite –especially Illustrator, Photoshop, JavaScript, J Query, CSS, HTML, cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.).
- Manage digital banner design, production and updates of Landing Pages.
- Assist the design and production involved in developing new and existing websites – (including concepts and templates).
- Assist with website reviews.
- Design and production of email blasts (includes testing, sending, reporting and analysis).
- Manage and maintain email blast templates.
- Provide monthly reports to Operations for email blast billing.
- Act as a Gragg Interactive representative with the client when called upon to do so.
- Help the Interactive Department establish strategic partnerships with outside resources where Gragg is inefficient or lacking.
- Participate in two seminars or classes per year for design, web design or marketing.
- Record daily work or activity on a timesheet and report it to the Operations department.
- Assist in the management and coordination of work flow and job assignments among the interactive team
